How it all started...
In June of 2017, GFA Pantry started as the Pastor’s idea to help struggling families in the church by setting up one table of canned goods at the back of the Sanctuary. Requests from area residents caused it to outgrow that space quickly and it was moved to the community room of the Assembly Church in Gentry.
The need continues to grow. Today, the GFA Food Pantry serves 55-90 households each week from the surrounding areas of Gentry, Decatur, Gravette, Siloam Springs, Oklahoma and Missouri. Recently, we have seen even more families seeking help with up to 90 households requesting help weekly.

Expanding the vision...

Where we are headed...
We have a vison of having our own building!
We have outgrown the community room at the church. We desperately need more space to grow. We have gotten grants and purchased rolling shelving to organize and expand our space as much as possible. We are praying for a generous donor to follow his/her heart and provide us with that building.

Be a part of our story...
We can always use volunteers and donors. .
